Macedonian Police helicopter unit supporting the 10th event of "Tree Day - Plant Your Future". Macedonian authorities estimate that including the last Tree Day, Macedonians have planted 44 million trees in over 1000 locations throughout Macedonia. Over 250,000 people have been participated per event. Macedonia treats its forests as a national treasure and heritage protected by the constitution. Macedonia has signed and ratified numerous international agreements and conventions that affect the forestry sector. Tree Day has continually been supported by the Macedonian government, including all Ministries, the Agency for Local Self-government, municipalities, public/private companies, Macedonian Forests & ambassadors serving in Macedonia. Gratitude to head of Macedonian Policed Helicopter Unit D.M. for the opportunity to promote this noble event and Police unit.
