N341NG Three months since my last photo, the tail is removed & work has started on repairing the damage. On August 10, 2012 a Lufthansa A330 (D-AIKE) clipped the tail of this N341NG while taxing from the gate (Canon 60D + EF 17-40mm f/4L USM)
45-1037 On a low altitude search mission for a C-54 two downdrafts forced the plane to land on the side of the mountain. The pilot walked all the way to the alaskan highway and led a rescue team to the location. all 10 airmen survived in Feb.1950. more info on my website
