FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions at MyAviation.net

Users

Q: Can I use the photos I find on this site?
A: Not without asking for the proper permissions from the photographer. Click the photographers name and write your request in the contact form.

Photographers

Q: How do I upload photos?
A: Currently all uploads are made through the regular upload form at Airliners.net. You have the choice to upload to Airliners.net only, both or MyAviation.net only. In the first two cases your photo will be sent to MyAviation.net as soon as it has been processed by the screeners. It will not matter if it was accepted or rejected. It'll still end up here. If you choose MyAviation.net only the photo will be sent directly to us without the screening delay at Airliners.net.

Q: I want to give out a link pointing directly to all my photos, can I do that?
A: You need to registrate as a photographer. Your URLs will be:
http://myaviation.net/?uid=X
Replace 'X' with your user ID (number).

Q: Are you allowed to use the Airliners.net stuff?
A: All design and scripts are licensed and authorized by Airliners.net.

Q: Will you use my personal information for marketing purposes?
A: No. All e-mail addresses are well protected and will be given out to a user only when you reply to a message sent through the contact form. There is more to read in our privacy policy.

Q: If I want to edit photo information, delete a single photo or remove all my photos I am allowed to do that?
A: Yes. As a registered photographer you will have access to all those functions. You will also have statistics for your own photos and some more tools to make your life easier.
