N810CK ( cn 45814 ) Pictured a few months before nearly being destroyed by clear air turbulence so strong it separated the number one engine and 19' of the leading edge of the left wing, yet landing safely at Denver Stapleton, this DC-8 was repaired and returned to service until being broken up in Greenville Mississippi in 1999. Seen here on the cargo ramp in Cleveland during its waning years. // MyOldPics //
