Photographer’s remark
First ever picture on A.net of this regional airport located west of Dessau. A former East German military airfield and was reconstructed as a regional airport with a brand new terminal , tower and runway but the traffic was close to nil and the airport was closed. Now it is waiting for the rising economy in the area and will hopefully reopen soon. Viewed from a Maersk Air Boeing 737 bound for Venice.
