Photographer’s remark

N880EP This beauty was born in 1958 and after distinguished service with Delta Air Lines, this CV-880, a Model 22-2, Fleet No. 909, Reg No. N8809E, MSN 22-00-38 was eventually purchased by Elvis Presley in 1975. Presley subsequently christened the aircraft "Lisa Marie" after his daughter, and the registration was then changed to N880EP. Elvis himself often referred to this plane as his “Flying Graceland” or “The Pride Of Elvis Presley Airways”. It had the nickname “Hound Dog 1”, but its formal name is the “Lisa Marie” in honor of Elvis´ daughter.
