Photographer’s remark

National Atomic Museum: Jan 17, 1966 a B-52 collided with a KC-135 at 31,000 feet over Palomares, Spain. Within hours, the 16th Air Force had located three B28 bombs that landed on the shore. The fourth was found 48 hours later. All four KC-135 crew members were killed, while four of the seven B-52 crew parachuted to safety.
