JA732J As seen in this picture, in a smart and practical move, Japan Airlines got their newly delivered B773ERs fitted with the improved Shell Flat seats whereby the pod shells are no longer made of those flimsy plastics as found on their B744s and early B772ERs. Those plastic shells are easily damaged after little use, often by passengers, their rolling luggages and the galley carts. This hard shell feels like some sort of aluminum?
